More radio-ad fun

There's a local furniture store that runs ads on WFNX, and the ads are done by the guy who owns the chain and some female sidekick. One of their current ads disparages what their competitors call "a bedroom set" and then list off what their complete bedroom set includes. And one item is "a man's chest."

I want to know two things:

1. Who is this guy who sells his chest?

2. Is this at all related to the Headless Body in Topless Bar?

gnomi is a Doofus, Knitting Edition

mabfan and I met for lunch today, and while I was waiting for the T back from lunch, I was sitting on a bench on the platform and knitting. I was finishing up a glove finger, and when the train pulled in, I'd set aside my working needle to draw the tail through the remaining 6 stitches. While I was doing this, the train pulled in, so I got up and got onto the train. As soon as the doors closed, I realized I couldn't remember where I'd put my working needle, and I thought I'd heard something fall as I stood up to get on the train. Eh, I thought, it's a plastic double-pointed out of a set of 5. Not a horrible loss, though annoying, since I just bought those double-pointeds.

I get back to my office, get back to my work. After a bit, I realize I want to go talk to seborn for a moment. I reach up to take off my reading glasses and...

Find the missing needle. Stuck behind my ear. Where it had been for over an hour.
