I know I still need to respond to the previous one (I hope to get to that today or so) plus post my response to [personal profile] baiacou's assigning me a letter in the letter meme, but here's another participatory meme. I got it from [personal profile] celli, who got it from [personal profile] sophia_helix, who called it "stupidity amnesty," which I think is an excellent name for it.

How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know? How many times have you felt 'guilty' asking a close LJ friend a question that should be 'obvious'?

Well, here's your chance.

If you've missed a few things, missed an entry and are confused, ask me any thing. Even something EXTREMELY basic, like where I live! I'm not allowed to get even slightly irritated at any of the questions - we've all missed things before.

I got to use my extremely basic question this week already, but if you want to record for my scattered brain which of your siblings-in-law are which, that's cool.

OK...here's how it all breaks down:

-- I have one sister, [profile] beckyfeld. Her husband is my brother-in-law [personal profile] osewalrus. Their son A. is my nephew.

-- [personal profile] mabfan has an elder brother, J.-the-doctor. He is my brother-in-law. His wife, A., is my sister-in-law. Their daughter A. is my niece.

-- [personal profile] mabfan has a younger brother, J.-the-lawyer. He is my brother-in-law. His wife, R., is my sister-in-law. Their daughter E. is my neice. Their son N. is my nephew.

-- [personal profile] mabfan has two half brothers, D. and D. They are my half-brothers-in-law (put them together and you get one full brother-in-law *g*)

-- [personal profile] osewalrus has two brothers, B. and S. They are no actual relation to me. I consider them (and sometimes call them) each my brother-in-law-in-law (inasmuch as they are [profile] beckyfeld's brothers-in-law). They have wives S. and S., respectively, who are my sisters-in-law-in-law.

Everyone else (such as [profile] lisafeld, whom [personal profile] mabfan and I sometime refer to as "our cousin," even though she's neither his cousin nor mine) is mishpacha. :-)
