More things I was too sleepy to remember to blather about yesterday

I went on a DVD buying spree yesterday. CDNow.com is a very dangerous place for me, especially when they're having an up-to-40% sale on all their DVDs. I bought "A Few Good Men," "Top Secret!," "Airplane!," and pre-ordered the 30th Anniversary edition DVD of "Schoolhouse Rock" (eligible for the sale but not shipping until 27 August). I also bought Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's CD "Alone in Iz World" on behalf of MAB, who requested it.

Now my "waiting for release" list of DVDs is down to the 3rd season of "Buffy" (expected winter of 2003, according to the advertisement in the season 2 DVDs) and the two seasons of "Sports Night," which is rumored to be planned for early November 2002.

I'm waiting for those, too, and the third season of MASH, expected winter of 2003, according to the ad in the season 2 DVDs. I don't know why I though that Sports Night was going to be out now, but I want it. *sigh* I'll get it off the Comedy Channel if all goes well. *crosses fingers* I should get Schoolhouse Rock, too; I've got two nieces, and they'll need to learn punctuation and grammar. :-)
