Follow-Up to YALP

In Friday's YALP post, I asked two related questions: Did people recognize the source of the title of the poll (You enter a very dark room/And sitting there in the gloom/is Dracula!), and I want to order:.

For the first of these, there are two possible correct answers: Tom Lehrer or The Electric Company. The L-Y song (link to YouTube) was one of the songs Tom Lehrer wrote for The Electric Company back in the 1970s. He also wrote "Silent E" (again YouTube) for the show.

The question about sweet rolls was also an Electric Company (yet another YouTube link) reference.

Huh. I guess I didn't know the reference after all. I just googled and found out that what I was thinking of was actually a "barbaric yawp", not a "yalp".

It wasn't actually the YALP title for the post I was asking about (which stands for "Yet Another Language Poll"), but the Dracula-related title of the poll itself, so I think you get credit for even attempting to figure out YALP. :-)
