gnomiSo, I mentioned a while ago that mabfan and I have a rather extensive stuffed animal collection and that we frequently give them odd and/or punning names. One of these animals is a Folkmanis snowy owl. We've had the owl for a while, but, for some reason, it never got named.
On Friday, before Shabbat, we were moving stuff around, andmabfan picked up the owl. We had the following conversation that culminated in our naming the owl:
mabfan: This owl...
gnomi: Has 22 minutes?
mabfan: [laughs]
gnomi: That's it!
mabfan: What?
gnomi: I finally figured out a name for the owl!
So, we now have Mercer the Owl.
