Productive and Nonproductive Monday

So I was really steaming ahead, getting my book all ready for technical review, when the system crashed and I lost all of the new work I'd done today. On the downside, I've lost all the work. On the upside, however, I was doing minor point-and-click stu ff that, while tedious and time-consuming, is not difficult. And it's basically all I need to do before Thursday, so as long as I can keep the system from crashing again, I'll be fine. :-)

I also managed to be somewhat productive this evening. Not only did MAB and I get the grocery shopping done (which we hadn't done in a couple of weeks, so it was a bigger trip than usual), I've even managed to get some writing done. I'm pounding away at a story part that just keeps growing and growing, and I can't seem to rein it in. Of course, that's not completely my job - that's why I've got a trusted editor, right?

Yes ma'am. You have a trusted editor. Although you're trusted editor is having the kind of week that normal people do not want to have, but I'm still here. :)
