mabfan: Did you hear? Best Buy is not going to sell analog TVs anymore.

gnomi: Yes, I read that story earlier.

mabfan: Bye-bye, analog television! We'll miss you!

gnomi: We sure will. Especially Cooking with Stan Schmidt. That was my favorite Analog Television program!

Heinlien predicted the digital transition in Puppet Masters. Where was that serialized? Probably not Analog at that point.

And it became illegal to manufacture analog only TVs in this country as of last July. More recently, the FCC mandated that any store selling analog only inventory needed to put up huge signs everywhere that said "This TV will stop working February 19, 2009."
