Quack quack...

-- Some helpful advice from the makers of today's lunch: "Remove bagels from package, place on microwave safe plate, apply marinara sauce and cheese, heat about 15 seconds and serve. To serve cold do not microwave" (emphasis mine).

-- Gotta love New England weather - it's in the 50s today, and on Sunday it just might snow.

-- For those to whom I whinged about my eyes this past week, I am happy to announce that, with concentration, I can consistently keep the world in single-vision rather than double or triple. Amazing what a couple of nights of sleep can do.

-- One of the major projects I've been banging my head against at work for the past month is done, and another is well on its way to being done. And I got e-mail from one of the developers that praised my work highly. All leading me to be a happy Nomi.

Not more people with vision issues!

I hope that sufficient sleep completely resolves the multiplicity of views (in the physical sense, of course :-).

I'm used to the double-vision thing - I've been dealing with the Nomi-doesn't-sleep-enough-then-sees-double thing since I was 17 (it's part of the whole saga I laid out in that rambly comment I made in your LJ). But thanks for the sympathy. I am pretty confident that, if I get enough sleep over this shabbat, I should be back to normal (vision-wise, at least) by Sunday.

I hope that you get a lot of sleep over the weekend. Take very good care of your dear self.

I love this weather, and I love when you're a happy Nomi. *beam*

Thanks for the hugs, sweetie. I plan to use this weekend to, among other things, recharge my batteries and remind my body that it does know what it's like to not be overtired.

Get out and enjoy the lovely weather today; I hear the weekend might be wet.

*Triple* vision? Left, right, and combined?

I think the tripling effect I get is due to my eyes trying so hard to compensate for the drift of my left that persistence of vision actually gives me three images. The tripling doesn't last the way the doubling does; it's more fleeting (thank goodness).

Oh, you have a drifting eye too? Mine don't work together, and I'm told that sometimes my right eye will wander off into a corner, which sometimes freaks people who notice it.
Somehow, though, my brain knows how to compensate. It does so largely by favoring the other eye, but things could be worse. There is a definite difference if I close my right eye, so it's contributing something.
