It's actually a wool-acrylic blend, the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Worsted. But it's not one of those scratchy acrylics, most likely because of the wool.

I use the Wool-Ease a lot. I don't believe in making non-machine-washable baby gifts, so the Wool-Ease is a good go-to yarn.
