Is it wrong of me to vote against someone/something because there's an extraneous apostrophe in the signs supporting it?

(This question brought to you on account of today's town election in Brookline.)

This is the best reason ever to vote against something.

Is that a sign for the Irish candidate, Barack O'Bama?

It's a rough call. There are times when I put myself on a particular side of an issue and am horrified by the company I find myself in, which makes me wonder if perhaps I've chosen poorly.

Not as a sole factor, perhaps, but if I were undecided, sure.

Well, while the candidate approved it, s/he didn't write it.
Cut them some slack.

This time.

If the supporters of the measure seem otherwise literate, I don't know if I'd use one extraneous apostrophe as the sole reason for voting against something, although I'd probably admit to a vague squicky feeling as I marked my ballot.

Two apostrophes, on the other hand...

Not as long as you tell them this is the reason why. :D

Depends on what the candidate is running for. This would totally disqualify for the school board...
