Challah with olive oil, zaatar, maybe roasted garlic

Suddenly I find I'm very hungry.

How about black bean salad:
1 can black beans
1 medium tomato, diced
1 red pepper, diced
1/2 red onion, sliced fairly small
juice of 1 lime
cumin and salt to taste
cilantro
optional: sour cream, crumbled corn chips

Ooh, that sounds yummy. I could do that, or you've just reminded me I could do Santa Fe Bean Salad as a side. I shall have to ponder.

you could also make black bean and corn salad, which is pretty much the same thing except with a can of corn instead of tomato, and with some red wine vinegar to taste. dunno how well it goes with challah, tho....

The Santa Fe Bean salad is black beans, salsa, corn, cilantro, green and red peppers, and something I'm forgetting, I think. It's most excellently yummy.
