Knitting-Related OCD?

gnomiRight before Readercon, I started knitting a pair of socks out of Regia's Design Line (colorway: Landscape Storm). I finished the first sock on Monday night while knitting in the company of madknits, and I immediately cast on the second sock. The second ball started in a different place in the color scheme than the first, but I made the decision at the time to start the sock where the ball started, rather than finding the exact color that I started with before so that I could have an exact matching pair.
Yesterday, I changed my mind, tore out what I'd already done, and started again at the same point as where the first sock started.
