Yammering About Knitting
Aug. 12th, 2008 11:00 am-- After a consult with the brilliant and insightful
madknits last night, I have decided to forego buttons (and, thus, buttonholes) on the cardigan I'm currently knitting and, instead, to use frogs or some other closure. So I'm off to Windsor Button at some point to investigate. And if they don't have what I want, I'll check out Winmill.
-- Another entry in the list of knitting tools I wish existed: three-place row counters. I mean, yes. Keeping track of my hundreds place isn't so hard. But I can do math in my head much more easily if all three places are there rather than having to remember that the "20" on the counter isn't actually "20" but "120" and therefore *is* divisible by 3.

Much better to do closures. :-)
