-- PJs (on PPP)
-- Fancier sandals for Shabbat

Stuff I wear, not clothing:
-- Earrings
-- Dress watch(es)

Chargers, maps, and PJs are on the PPP.

I'll add the other stuff to the above list.

Yes, I know. I was being willfully obtuse for the sake of humour.

I know, but you gave me a good excuse to plug the Oxford Comma. :-)

Can I remind you about your tallit, if you are planning to go to G&S's shul and are with the eruv? (If you are planning to come to my shul instead, then never mind it, but I do recall you have forgotten your tallt a couple of times.)

Aha! Yes, tallit (and tefillin) ought to be on the list. Nomi, could you add them please?

But I didn't know Gilbert & Sullivan had a shul. :-)

PS
Regarding the theater outfit, I think I used to see people walking into theaters and it was very casual. I would imagine wearing a non-shul Shabbat outfit would be more than fine.

While it is, sadly, true that many people no longer dress for the theatre, you are quite right not to be one of their number. Although depending on the specific Shabbat outfit, that might be overkill. I always wear a tie and dress slacks to the theatre, but whether I wear a jacket is seasonal.

Nice skirt and blouse? Something I'd wear for a not-going-to-shul Friday night?

Spiffy. It's a plan, then. Thanks for the sartorial assistance.

That would make you better dressed than at least 3/4 of NY theatre goers in my experience over the last few years.

Actually wearing something clean that doesn't involve shorts or t-shirts with logos is enough to elevate one above the crowd nowadays, alas. I usually do the "dress I'd wear to work if I don't have a meeting with a bigshot" approach.

Just a reminder that we're planning a 1.5-2 mile walk to lunch so your Shabbat footwear should be comfortable (we often wear sneakers).
