OK, Now We're Done. What Day is it, Anyway?

So, the last of the fall Jewish holidays has come to an end. I was offline from Monday afternoon through about an hour ago. I'm not going to be able to catch up with my friends list, alas. So please tell me if there's anything important that I should see.

We had some lovely meals with some wonderful hosts, and we spent a lot of time in synagogue (especially today).

And while I enjoy the holidays, I'm looking very forward to having complete weeks again.

Martians landed. They needed a cup of sugar and 60% of our potable water. They screwed theirs up. We sent them off with a metric f***load of Brita Filters and the Caspian Sea.

It's a Saturday. We're skipping Sunday and going straight into Monday. Midday it will morph into Thursday. Normalcy resumes then, except mind that after a couple more Saturdays you will gain an hour of sleep or play (but one hopes not work).

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I am glad Yomin Tovin are over in some ways because I can get back to my normal routine.

I just left a note on Ken's journal that I will be writing a letter to everyone today about my visit next week.
