gnomi: But not the armadillo! But yes, the hippopotomus! Should she stay? Should she go?

gnomi: No, Harold Pinter.

We discovered (I can't remember exactly who made the discovery -- it might have been Rhu, it might even have been you! way back when T and R were babies) that one of the tunes for "Yom Shabaton" goes nicely with that book (I can't read the book now without singing it, though I don't use exactly the variant of the melody that I linked to!).

I adore that book SO MUCH. Our whole family knows it off by heart, like most of her books. Talk about poignant.

I loved that book! It was one of the more popular requests before naptime when I was a camp counselor.
