Do any of the local shuls have a reliable weeknight ma'ariv minyan? lcmlc has yahrtzeit tomorrow night and will be in the Brookline/Brighton area (Newton would work, too).
Well, I can't imagine that YI would not be getting a minyan; that's probably gold seal in terms of reliability. I don't know how they handle women and kaddish: probably the typical way (as does, I think, KTM: the woman says it in a non-raised voice along with the men).
Yeah, except in the dead of winter where minchah has to be davened ridiculously early at the latest, they're reliable. The Beis Medrash does have a small women's section.
CST/Newton has late arvit at 9pm. We have several aveilim who aveil themselves of it, so there's almost always a minyan at 9 sharp; if not, phone calls are made.
We have mincha/maariv bizman (which, according to the shul website that I recently started resurrecting, is at 5:50 today). It's a difficult time of year for guaranteeing an easy minyan, but I haven't heard of any problems this week.
