So I'm rewatching 1x8 (Hard Sell) for reasons that do not bear explanation at this time, and I'm again convinced that in the scene where Avery sends Neal to talk to Reed, the woman Reed is talking to is played by Gloria Votsis. This is before we meet Alex, so I may be 100% wrong. Am I totally off base? She has no lines and doesn't appear to be credited in any way, whoever she is.

I just did a screen cap from the episode and looked at it really carefully, and I don't think it is.

You're likely right; she just looks like she could be Alex's sister.
