An Interesting Article from Today's Boston Globe

This morning, the Boston Globe reported that transcripts of witness reports from the Cocoanut Grove fire have been released. I have been fascinated by this piece of Boston history for as long as I can remember, so I am looking forward to combing through the digital archives.

My mother and her cousins were supposed to have been at that nightclub that night, but either my mother or one of her cousins had a bad cold and they didn't go. They were sixteen, but one of the girls had a much older boyfriend who was going to get them in.
