-- Today is my vinyl birthday: I'm 33 1/3.
-- Marriage was definitely in the air today here in Massachusetts. Congratulations to all who applied for licenses, all who waived the 3-day waiting period and got married today, and all who came out to support the happy couples. We're witnesses to history, every single one of us.
-- On a related note, a friend pointed this out to me: it is legal in Massachusetts for first cousins to marry. However, it is not legal in 24 other states in the Union. Is Romney's pet 1913 law being applied to cousins who choose to marry?
-- The path to a new nickname: the Appellation Trail
