Hey, new folks who recently friended me!

Please take a moment to post a comment telling me how/if I know you. You don't have to identify yourself by any really personal details or anything. Just a "I met you at a con"/"I'm a friend of [so-and-so]" or whatever.

We're friendly here in NomiLand; we just like to know who folks are, so we don't risk scaring them away with massively obscure language inanity.

(and, yes, I'm now speaking of myself in the royal plural. Just blame it on the Dead French Kings (TM).)

it's all farwing's fault! but i also know seborn from MIT (we were even housemates for awhile), am friends with bluepapercup, who i believe you know through arib, and until very recently sang with the Zamir Chorale of Boston. lots of little threads...

I believe I met you at BU Hillel at the same time I met JK and AK (then AB). It was late 1993 or early 1994.
